Drew Clarke is a freelance writer living in Vancouver, British Columbia.
He is a graduate of The Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University, where he studied Creative Nonfiction, New Media Journalism, Editing and Publishing. Drew also has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Western Sydney University, Australia.
Drew’s writing has been published in Vancouver Magazine, the Vancouver Courier, The Growler, Hush Magazine, Lucky Magazine and Brag Magazine. His articles range from an investigation of an unsolved beekeeping crime, to a ringside view of a beer-fuelled charity boxing match, to an insider profile on the daily life of tow-truck drivers. Running through all his work is a deep curiosity about the world and a passion for storytelling.
Originally from Australia, Drew now resides in Vancouver, where he draws inspiration from the mountains, ocean and forest. In his free time, Drew enjoys reading, drawing, kayaking and backcountry camping.
